I was infatuated with this one from the first time I set eyes on her at Stagemeyer's, and we bought her out of the Major League sale for a donor pieces. A maternal sister to Fortunate Son, Independence, and Griswold and May's new bull, High Tide. Nords Lucy 8022 was one of the neatest Angus show heifers to grace the ring, grabbing Reserve at Jr. Nationals, Supreme Female at American Royal, and Reserve in Denver, going on to make an even better cow. Lucy 55L never saw the show ring, as her best days were always destined to be in the pasture, and boy was that the truth. An absolutely remarkable udder floor and teat size, with the perfect amount of milk, she's a chisel outlined, feminine featured, square built individual who is a cookie cutter example of why the Natural Law daughters are so sought after. She's just a 3 year old, we got a bit of a late start as she lost her calf due to a series of unfortunate events last year, but is raising an absolute scorcher of a Stability bull calf this year, passing on her unique neck to body ratio, and her insanely long and level hip and pliable back leg. I have this young cow extremely high on my priority list, and luckily she flushes graciously enough to share with the world.
